MANY times I’m asked how I can do what I do with NILMDTS. Well, my good friend and Fed Ex driver found out personally how I can do what I do.
Knowing that one of the angels I helped had her ‘Angel Day’ (birthday) coming up, I prepared a special “Happy Angel Day” card for her mom and dad. I asked my Fed Ex friend if he would be willing to drop it off to them on his lunch hour as he drives to their town nearly daily. He agreed and he was off in his big 20′ semi truck for his regular route.
He found their home and walked up to the front door. As the mom stood there looking puzzled (she had JUST had a Fed Ex delivery 10 minutes prior and really wondered why this huge semi had pulled up to her house!) he said, ‘I have a special deliver for you’. She asked who it was from and he told her she better open it to find out.
She opened the envelope, read “Happy Angel Day” and immediately started to cry.
You see….all these parents want is for their baby’s to be REAL. To have EXISTED. To be REMEMBERED! I remember……I always remember these sweet angels that touch my heart to the very core. These families that I pray for, hope for, cry for. This mom just wanted her baby to be remembered.
As I sit in my office working that afternoon, that certain Fed Ex driver calls me to relate his side of the story with tears of his own. He said that was one of the neatest things he’s ever experienced as a driver and thanked me for the opportunity to deliver that special envelope.
It’s the tender mercies just like this…that make what I do important. J & J…thank you so much for the privilage and honor of holding your precious angel that sacred night. May you feel her strengthen you and lift you until you are able to cradle her in your arms again.
I simply love tender mercies…..

Now I am sitting here crying
Julie, this says it all.
I love your blog page! It is so sweet and touching - thanks for being such a kind person and doing so many wonderful
things. I got a referral from my sister and a friend about your photos and they are breath-taking. However, I was
not sure if you do weddings or not and was just wondering about that possibility.
We live in Rexburg, Idaho but my son is getting married in Bountiful, Utah. We were given your name and wanted to
get more information about your photography, etc. Please email me and let me know more. The wedding date is July
11th and we are still trying to get things figured out and help his bride with some of the planning. She is having
a friend do her bridals and the engagement ones, so those are taken care of. Thanks, LB
My name is Ali Martin and I live in Layton. I volunteer for Utah Share and know what NILMDTS is all about and I just love it! I have had a loss and have to say that the story above really touched my heart. That is so special and I have to say that I know that you made that mothers day! And you are absolutely right, that is all we want, for someone to remember our babies and for them to feel real and loved and that they existed and still do in our hearts. It’s funny that I ran across this as my angels birthday is coming up on the 3rd. Anyway, I just wanted to thank you for all you do for NILMDTS. It’s amazing work!
Also…I am thinking about applying for NILMDTS…I am an up and comer…any tips??
Again, thanks for all you do! It really means more to a mother than she can ever express!
You are the best!! I believe that you, yourself are an ANGEL!!! Love ya tons!
